The Ewe Experience

The Ewe Experience

Visit the Ewe Experience in Glengarriff – Ireland’s only interactive and interpretative sculpture garden in a spectacular waterfall oasis.

Often described as ‘Ireland’s Eden’, The Ewe Experience introduces you to an innovative series of gardens along a one-kilometre trail that combines nature, art, science, story-telling and humour.

Enter the Falling Water Garden, before crossing the waterfall into the Timeless Glen, a shady forest clearing. Then meander along the trail, up through the Environmental Forest, where many sculptures are made from recycled materials.

You’ll finally reach the Valley of Eden! There you can bathe your spirits in the lush Jurassic planting and enjoy spectacular views to the mountains and the sea.

Delight the imagination in a garden for all ages

The Ewe Experience garden trail delights and surprises at every turn

Set along a spectacular mountain waterfall, the Ewe’s four themed gardens lead you on an intriguing adventure that takes you back in time and back to nature. The Ewe Experience has evolved slowly over 27 years from an artist’s home into an interactive open-air natural-history museum, with a twist.

Playful, creative and relaxing, the Ewe garden experience delights visitors of all ages and makes for the perfect West Cork family day out.
