Wild Women Gatherings in Glengarriff Nature Reserve
Glengarriff Forest Therapy celebrate the Celtic festival of Lughnasa with Wild Women Gatherings
Gathering circle deep in the forest for a nurturing day of relaxation, forest therapy, connection and transformation. In ancient times, all ceremonies and rituals were carried out in nature, in keeping with this tradition into the wild we will go.
Lughnasa is the time to celebrate the harvest, a time when we gather the fruits of our labour. Is there something ready to be harvested within you?
About Wild Women Gatherings
As always we will be working with the spirit of the forest to ground us through guided meditation and offerings.
We shall be journeying with the assistance of the shamanic drum to connect with the ancient Goddess Tailtiu, the earth Goddess of strength, grace and kindness, to help nurture ourselves at this time. The day will bring many experiences including:
- Working with the beautiful Hazel Tree, the tree of wisdom and knowledge, to remind us of our own innate inner knowing.
- Finishing with a sacred fire ceremony to embody our experience and anchor the Lions Gate Energy.
- There will be space for feasting, sharing, dreaming, bathing in the beautiful river and there will definitely be dancing !!!
This will be a day to nourish your heart and soul, deeply connect to Mother Earth, other wonderful women, and the wild woman within.
Women have always been the healers, midwives, intuitive guardians of the earth, keepers of wisdom and the bridge between the spiritual and physical realms. It’s time to remember.
