Bantry Bay Charter presents Strings & Things
Bantry Bay Charter Presents
Strings & Things
Gather your partner, your friends, your sister, your brother and come along on an evening boat trip with a difference. Explore Glengarriff Harbour while listening to the sounds of Irish band Strings & Things. Anchor up for a few tunes and a boogie if you so wish.
Strings and Things are a high octane four piece who reside in Thurles, Co. Tipperary in Ireland. Their makeup of musical instruments include guitar, banjo, mandolin, whistle, Cajon and bass which in turn helps to deliver a sound that could only be described as something out of the ordinary, but refreshing nonetheless.
Coming from all kinds of musical backgrounds, the four lads use their experience in different genres to also give their music a signature sound. Elements of rock, pop, traditional, folk and even funk help to set the stage for what can only be described as Strings & Things. Following the release of their first album, Turbulence, in 2017, Strings & Things have since released a new album in 2021 called The Unsolicited Dance.
For a taste of their music, you can listen here!

Parking at Glengarriff – Due to a lot of tour buses coming and going from the pier during the tourist season, it is not always possible to park along side it. Therefore we ask, where possible, to drop off passengers and bags near the pier and park your car along the top of the road.
IMPORTANT TRIP INFORMATION
All charters are dependent on weather. The Irish weather and Atlantic Ocean sea conditions can be unpredictable during the year, even in summer. Our Skipper will make their decision to sail based on many years of experience, always keeping in mind passenger safety and comfort. However, depending on wind direction and swell, it may be possible to go ahead with your charter within sheltered waters.
