Eccles Hotel Glengarriff

Eccles Hotel and Spa

If you are looking for a hotel in West Cork with personality and charm, the Eccles Hotel is the perfect option for you.

Steeped in 250 years of rich history, the Eccles Hotel and Spa is a beautiful 4 star hotel in West Cork offering the finest in charm, comfort and location.

The hotel is situated in the quaint village of Glengarriff overlooking Bantry Bay on a stunning stretch of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. There has been a hostelry and accommodation on the site of the current Eccles Hotel & Spa since 1745!

Our illustrious guests over the centuries have included George Bernard Shaw, Virginia Woolf, W. B. Yeats and – more recently – Pippa Middleton.

Our rooms are furnished to the highest standards, and our Garnish Restaurant boasts stunning, panoramic views across Bantry Bay. Our menu in the restaurant and the Harbour Bar includes  a wide choice of classic dishes sourced from artisan food suppliers within our local region of West Cork.

The hotel was named as one of the Irish Independent’s Top 50 places to stay in Ireland 2018. John and Sally McKenna named it in their Top 100 in 2019,  and the Eccles Hotel was the winner of the Georgina Campbell Irish Breakfast Award 2020.
