Bantry Bay Charters

Bantry Bay Charters

Take a boat trip on Bantry Bay with Glengarriff-based Bantry Bay Charters!

We offer Deep Sea Angling, Mackerel Fishing, Marine Wildlife Tours, Whale Watching, and Scenic and Historical Coastal Cruises. You can also ask us to design a Day on the Bay just for you!

Bay Fishing

Bay fishing is a great way to spend the day with family or friends. Experience the thrill of catching your first ever fish, or compete with friends and family to land the biggest catch. You can even take home the fish you catch for your supper!

Deep Sea Fishing Trips

For more experienced fishers, Bantry Bay Charters offer half- and full-day Deep Sea Fishing trips, giving you the chance to catch a wide variety of fish, including Pollock, Cod, Bull Huss, Dog fish, Wrasse, Ling, Conger, Common Skate and Pouting.

We also offer a wide range of rods, reels, and tackle.

Glengarriff’s Sea Life

Bantry Bay Charters

Glengarriff harbour and Bantry Bay have an abundance of wildlife to show you! On your Bantry Bay Charters Marine Wildlife Tour, you have a chance of seeing Atlantic Grey Seals and Common Seals, a wide variety of birdlife, including Oyster Catchers, Curlews, Grey Herons, Egrets, and Cormorants. If you are lucky, you might even see Glengarriff’s White-Tailed Sea Eagle flying overhead.

Harbour Porpoise are resident in the bay all year round and can be seen daily, while the Common Dolphins tend to move inshore in early summer. They are a popular sight for our visitors, especially when they are in a playful mood and bow ride alongside the boat. Minke Whales are also frequent visitors to our lovely Bantry Bay. We often see them in pairs or small feeding groups.
